PICTURE THIS: The OGB Team including Wounded Warriors running this relay race through 200 miles of stunning scenery in the Potomac River Valley. We will be starting near the town of Cumberland, Maryland, our team will head east through the thick forests of the Appalachian Mountains. Around nightfall we'll run through the quiet streets of many charming historic Civil War-Era towns, ultimately passing within the shadows of the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial. The race (and our stamina) will wrap up on the shores of the Potomac River at the National Harbor in Washington DC. This isn’t your average 10K or half marathon, this is Ragnar! WHY are we doing this? You may ask WHY? We are fundraising for the OGB Section 60 in support of the Children of Our Fallen Heroes buired in Section 60 of Arlington National Cemetary, often called the saddest acre in America.
